Fun on the Farm

This week I spent a fun morning recently visiting three farms in NJ capturing footage for a supermarket that is heavily invested in the farm to table movement.

I have to say it was great fun meeting these folks. No surprise, they are the most down to earth people you will ever meet. No airs or graces. Just a friendly and welcoming attitude to us, even though they were busy and we were getting in the way.

I love doing these interview style videos. It was an education listening to these folks talk about the work they do. They talk about problems that would crush most people with calm acceptance. There is no bravado. Just a form of grace that comes from a life well lived.

In a world where everyone seems unhappy with their lot in life, it was refreshing to see how passionate these folks were about the work they do and to see them planning for the day when their children will take the farm over.
